Shiren Coffee

Brazil Microlot Espinho Paraiso

Brazil Microlot Espinho Paraiso

Description

• Contains one bag (150 g) of Brazil Microlot Espinho Paraiso, Arabica whole coffee bean.

• A Paraiso varietal from Espinho, Brazil. Paraiso is a hybrid of Yellow Catuai and Timor. Paraiso is praised for its high productivity and strong disease resistance, as well as its high cup quality. This is a sun-dried processed lot, which means higher fermentation than the typical pulp-natural processed Brazilian coffees. The result is unique in that it has subtle fruit notes that shine through, especially when prepared as black coffee.

• Preparation Methods: from French press to pour-over to espresso, the grinder you use and the water from your tap can alter the taste of the cup. This is a medium-bodied, lower-acidity coffee with pleasant of sweetness.

• Available in medium and dark roast offerings. Medium for a subtle fruit and nutty profile; dark for a bolder chocolate and nutty flavours.

• Freshly roasted to order, dispatch within 2 business days.

Brewing FAQs

May I know the freshness period of this coffee?
• The best serving period is between days 10 and 40, from the roasting date. Your experience may slightly differ.

The recommended brew ratio?
• 1:15 (1g coffee to 15g water)
• If prefer more acidity and flavour to emerge, use 1:14.
• If prefer more bitterness, use 1:16.

What is the ideal brewing temperature?
• For medium roast, we recommend 90–95 °C.
• For dark roast, we recommend 80–90 °C.

How finely should I grind this coffee?
• Try to find that “sweet spot” setting, for the preparation method of choice.
• It will take you 1 or 2 brews to find it. As a general guideline,
• towards finer increases both strength and extraction.
• towards coarser decreases both strength and extraction.

Tips to store the coffee bean properly?
• Keep the bean in the bag we provide, zip it well, and place the bag in a dry, cool place. Doing so prolongs the bean's shelf life.

How can I get the best aroma and flavour out of this coffee?
• By grinding just before you brew. We recommend customers use their grinder for the best experience.

I have no grinder yet; can Shiren Coffee grind the coffee bean for me?
• Yes. Please leave a note in the cart section letting us know your coffee preparation method, so we may grind it correctly for you. Thanks.

Coffee delivers richness and a delightful mouthfeel. Perfect for those who enjoy enhancing their black coffee with a hint of cream or milk. Worth it!

The most surprising Brazil

The medium roast one is really low in bitterness, surprisingly, unlike the past Brazilian beans I've tried. 👍😊
