• Malaysian locally grown specialty-grade coffee from My Liberica Farm, located in Kulai, Johor. Liberica is a rare species of coffee that makes up less than 2% of world coffee production. The Liew family is behind the helm in producing this enigmatic Liberica coffee, which tastes so distinctive with its own flair. This Liberica is natural-processed; it has more tropical fruit notes.

• Preparation Methods: from French press to pour-over to espresso, the grinder you use and the water from your tap can alter the taste of the cup. This is a full-bodied, very low-acidity coffee with unmistakeable jackfruit and matcha notes. A bold and cordial experience.

• Available in medium and dark roast offerings. Medium for balance; dark for more pronounced roast flavours.

• Freshly roasted to order, dispatch within 2 business days.

May I know the freshness period of this coffee?
• The best serving period is between days 8 and 50 from the roasting date. Your experience may slightly differ.

The recommended brew ratio?
• 1:13 (1g coffee to 13g water)
• If prefer thicker & more flavour to emerge, use 1:12.
• If prefer more bitterness, use 1:14.

What is the ideal brewing temperature?
• For medium roast, we recommend 95–100 °C.
• For dark roast, we recommend 85–95 °C.

How finely should I grind this coffee?
• Try to find that “sweet spot” setting, for the preparation method of choice. 
• It will take you 1 or 2 brews to find it. As a general guideline,
• towards finer increases both strength and extraction.
• towards coarser decreases both strength and extraction.

Tips to store the coffee bean properly?
• Keep the bean in the bag we provide, zip it well, and place the bag in a dry, cool place. Doing so prolongs the bean's shelf life.

How can I get the best aroma & flavour out of this coffee?
• By grinding just before you brew. We recommend customers use their grinder for the best experience.
