Shiren Coffee

Colombia Finca El Paraiso NK

Colombia Finca El Paraiso NK

Description

• Contains one bag (150 g) of Colombia El Paraiso NK, Arabica whole coffee bean.

• At Finca El Paraiso, ripe coffee cherries are picked and disinfected with ozone to reduce microbial contamination. The cherries are then transferred to fermentation tanks and undergo a 72-hour anaerobic fermentation, submerged in water with a Lactobacillus milk culture. The cherries are afterwards pulped and then mixed with the leachates collected from the cherry fermentation to further increase the level of precursors in the seed.
Next, a thermal shock washing step is carried out to maintain the precursors and dried in a dehumidifier to preserve delicate flavour notes and prevent over-oxidation and over-fermentation. The result is a cherry-like experience that is really uniquely its own.

• Preparation Methods: from French press to pour-over to espresso, the grinder you use and the water from your tap can alter the taste of the cup. In essence, this is an anaerobic fermented and thermal shock washed processing funky experience that will definitely satisfy adventurous coffee lovers.

• Available in light and medium roast offerings. Light is the one to go for; medium is tailor-suited better for espresso.

• Freshly roasted to order on every Tue or Wed. Dispatch the next day.
